FAA REQUIRMENTS

If someone flies a drone for you on ANY commercial level, they MUST be certified by the FAA or they are breaking federal laws. Lexington Drone Video pilots are FAA certified and take every mission seriously.

Every flight is a mission and is entered into our logs. We'll handle getting air traffic control tower clearance, checking weather conditions, and setting up an "ideal shot list" before the day we film.

The following flight conditions will require a waiver from the FAA:

• 107.25 Operation from a moving vehicle or aircraft.

• 107.29 Operation at night.

• 107.31 Operation with no visual line of sight.

• 107.33 Operation with no visual observer.

• 107.35 Operation of multiple small unmanned aircraft systems.

• 107.39 Operation over people.

• 107.41 Authorization to conduct operation in certain airspace.

We will handle the waivers at no additional charge.
